A quick look at the new Nissan GT-R

After 6 long years of eager anticipation, the new 2008, 2009 Nissan GT-R had finally arrived. This part machine, part beast Godzilla had already gone on sale in Japan this December at around 7 million yen apiece. Here is a quick look at it to educate those ippan-jin who thinks that the GT-R is a rice car. May Haruhi strike down on their pathetic souls.

The stock GT-R comes in six official colors.

Popular GT-R tuners like MINES, MCR, HKS and Top Secret are already working on the car and developed performance parts for it. The GT-R is also going to participate in the 2008 JGTC in the GT500 series. NISMO had already purchased 2 of them for the race.

I shall write a more in depth entry on my personal views with regards to this miracle car and how it compares to other cars together with video clips from Best Motoring, Top Gear and hopefully Fifth Gear once they are released.

First wrecked GT-R in Hong Kong. A black one. What a shame...
