Rotary Rocket VS Godly Godzilla

This is it! Finally! A touge showdown between two of my favourite cars. Not to mentioned them being tuned by top renowned tuners of Japan. The two cars from Japan that spawned a cult culture around themselves. The Mazda RX-7 and Nissan GT-R (previously known as Skyline GT-R). The 13B rotary engine powered FR RX-7 has always been loved for its exotic looks, excellent handling and sexy sound. The new VR38DETT V6 twin turbo powered, 4WD GT-R gains its respect for its technical sophistication, brutal power and tremendous traction.

This video features the newest model of the RX-7, a FD3S tuned by the renowned RE Amemiya and the recently launched GT-R, the R35 tuned by the famous MCR.

RE Amemiya RX-7 VS MCR GT-R

Looks like the laws of physics still caught up with the R35. It still suffers from its weight problem. But we must not forget that the MCR R35 was only lightly tuned while the RE Amemiya RX7 was full tuned. And not to mention that the upcoming V-Spec and V-Spec II will probably feature a much lighter R35. Well, till then, the RE Amemiya RX-7 still reigns supreme on the touge as the Devil King.
